Start by writing down both dates of birth and identifying which one is earlier. Subtract the day, month, and year of the earlier date from the later date, working from right to left the way you would with a subtraction problem.
If the day figure goes negative, borrow a month by adding the number of days in the previous month, and reduce the month count by one.
