Messy text usually has two separate problems: unwanted spaces inside lines, and unwanted line breaks between them. This tool treats them as two independent settings so you can fix one, the other, or both at once.
Space Mode
Each line is scanned individually. Depending on the mode you pick, the tool trims leading spaces, trims trailing spaces, collapses runs of two or more spaces down to the number set on the slider, or turns tab characters into plain spaces for cleaner text output.
Line Break Mode
Separately from spaces, the line break setting controls what happens between lines: leaving them untouched, deleting fully empty lines, collapsing three or more blank lines down to a single gap, or removing every line break so the text becomes one continuous paragraph.
